Château des Barrigards is ideally located in the heart of Burgundy, between Beaune, renowned for its vineyards, and Dijon, the administrative capital of Burgundy. It is 800 meters from the "Route des Grands Crus", along which all the most famous wine cellars, such as Romanée-Conti, Clos de Vougeot, etc., are located.

As well as being famous for the world's most expensive wines, Burgundy's long history is matched by a selection of major medieval churches, châteaux and buildings, which attract over two million tourists a year from all over the world. Burgundy wines are enjoyed by a wide range of people, from the casual wine drinker to the sophisticated and wealthy wine collector.
