Château des Barrigards is ideally located in the heart of Burgundy, between Beaune, renowned for its vineyards, and Dijon, the administrative capital of Burgundy. It is 800 meters from the "Route des Grands Crus", along which all the most famous wine cellars, such as Romanée-Conti, Clos de Vougeot, etc., are located.

As well as being famous for the world's most expensive wines, Burgundy's long history is matched by a selection of major medieval churches, châteaux and buildings, which attract over two million tourists a year from all over the world. Burgundy wines are enjoyed by a wide range of people, from the casual wine drinker to the sophisticated and wealthy wine collector.

The property consists of the château, which was built in stone at the beginning of the last century on 10 hectares of meadows and vineyards. The château and private garden have recently been completely renovated.

The château is about 2 km from Beaune, 150 km from Lyon international airport and 300 km from Paris. It is less than 2 km from the Paris-Lyon-Marseille freeway (exit 24 Savigny-les-Beaunes).

Train and TGV stations are located in Beaune, Chalon-sur-Saône (30 km) and Dijon (40 km). Cabs and all major car rental companies are also available at the stations.
